As a Senior Network Security Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to safeguarding their global digital ecosystem. You will contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced network security controls that protect critical data and infrastructure against evolving threats. Your main responsibilities:
Lead technical reviews of business and IT projects, ensuring network security requirements are met and integrated effectively.
Identify, analyze, and mitigate network security threats and risks, proposing robust solutions to enhance security posture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, providing expert guidance on network security best practices.
Monitor and analyze system logs and cybersecurity data to support decision-making and validate control effectiveness.
Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
Drive initiatives to improve existing network security controls and technologies.
Assist in incident response and support compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
At least 5 years of experience in network security and cybersecurity, preferably within regulated environments.
Strong expertise in network design, firewalls, IDS/IPS, content filtering, DDoS protection, NAC, WAF, and network segmentation.
In-depth understanding of network security threats, risks, and mitigation techniques.
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage with technical and management audiences effectively.
Proven ability to work independently, lead projects, and collaborate across multiple teams.
Experience guiding and developing junior colleagues.
It is a strong plus if you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Cybersecurity.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCNA, or CCIE.
Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or similar languages.
Familiarity with cloud security concepts and threat detection tools (SIEM, incident response).

Fluent English (both written and spoken)
