Mid-Level Java Developer – Financial Trading Systems

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Mid-Level Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leader in financial trading technology. You will contribute to the development of a complex trading hub for multiple markets, supporting trading activities of mutual funds, equities, and other financial products. This role offers the chance to be at the forefront of digital transformation within the financial sector, fostering career growth and technical mastery.

Your main responsibilities:

• Translate business requirements into system design specifications and implement robust Java-based solutions.

• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging to ensure optimal performance.

• Lead system tests, facilitate user acceptance testing, and support system deployment.

• Maintain high-quality standards in deliverables aligned with industry best practices and company policies.

• Identify and troubleshoot production and non-production application issues promptly.

• Assist in designing, maintaining, and enhancing CI/CD pipelines, including build tools and processes.

• Propose improvements to established React/Java application workflows to optimize efficiency and quality.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of professional experience in Java development, especially with Spring Boot.

• Hands-on experience working with RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and Ansible.

• Knowledge of AWS cloud services (preferred).

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies (preferred).

• Bonus: Experience with React, Jest, and Testing Library frameworks.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• A proactive, self-motivated attitude, open-mindedness, and ability to work effectively within a team.

• Flexibility to juggle multiple tasks and work independently under pressure.
