As a Senior Data Scientist – Machine Learning & Advertising Domains, you will be working for our client, a leader in digital advertising technology. You will play a crucial role in designing and refining advanced ML models for bidding, ranking, and content optimization that directly impact campaign success and platform efficiency. Your main responsibilities:
- Design and optimize machine learning models targeting key performance metrics such as CTR, CVR, and RoAS, embedded in core bidding logic and performance strategies.
- Architect complex models that fuse diverse data signals, including user, product, publisher, and placement features.
- Fine-tune models to meet the demands of high-throughput, low-latency online environments.
- Develop models for Dynamic Content Optimization within the DSP platform, including retargeting scenarios.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure model deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement follow industry best practices.
- Write production-quality, tested, and well-documented Python code, leveraging CI/CD workflows and cloud infrastructure.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- At least 3 years of experience in data science or related fields, with a focus on machine learning development and deployment.
- Proficiency in Python, PyTorch or TensorFlow, Pandas, and NumPy.
- Solid knowledge of SQL, preferably BigQuery or similar analytic SQL.
- Extensive experience working with public cloud platforms, specifically Google Cloud Platform (Vertex AI, Pipelines).
- Proven track record in designing and training deep neural networks in production environments.
- Academic background or extensive professional experience in STEM fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics.
- Strong engineering skills, including writing reliable, testable, and documented code, with familiarity in CI/CD practices.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Experience developing low-latency ML models for real-time applications in online advertising.
- Background working within the advertising or marketing industry.
- Experience in predictive modeling for business metrics like CTR and CVR.
- Knowledge of Real-Time Bidding (RTB) algorithms and Demand Side Platforms.
- Familiarity with traditional machine learning techniques such as Random Forests or Gradient Boosted Trees.
- Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools to boost productivity and code quality.
