Java Developer

As a Java Developer, you will be working for our client, a leading player in the banking industry. You will be responsible for developing cutting-edge pricing and risk solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Hands-on development using Java 17+ as the primary language.

• Collaborate with front office, risk management, Quants, and DevOps teams.

• Enhance development and release environments, tooling, and processes.

• Work directly with Rates business front office sales and trading.

• Develop interfaces and processes with Risk Management and Technology.

• Provide level 3 support, working closely with the operations team and users.

You're ideal for the role if you have:

• Experience in the pricing and risk domain within investment banking.

• In-depth knowledge of pricing and risk.

• Proficiency in Java development, especially Java 17+.

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals, including concurrency, algorithms, and data structures.

• A proactive, self-starting attitude with a knack for getting things done.

• Experience with Scrum/agile methodologies.

• Proven track record of delivering applications from inception to production.

• Extensive experience with test-driven development.

• Knowledge of CI/CD in large, complex systems.
