IT Project Manager

As a Scrum Master/Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a global leader in the financial sector, driving the successful execution of key transformation initiatives. This role is instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of projects through effective planning, risk management, and stakeholder collaboration. You will play a critical part in delivering high-quality solutions on time and within budget, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability to meet the client’s evolving needs.

Your main responsibilities:

• Creating and managing detailed project plans with clear milestones and deliverables
• Supporting scope, quality, cost, and effort alignment for successful project outcomes
• Tracking progress against plans and proactively addressing roadblocks to delivery
• Managing project budgets and financial performance metrics
• Developing and executing communication and reporting strategies across stakeholders
• Identifying, tracking, and resolving risks and issues with the project team
• Ensuring adherence to quality assurance processes and standard tools
• Preparing and analyzing management reports using analytical tools and techniques
• Facilitating progress reviews, key decision-making, and stakeholder alignment
• Promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Strong knowledge of project management frameworks and the project lifecycle
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile development methodologies
• Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
• Strong skills in risk and issue management, planning, and decision-making
• Evidence of excellent communication and influencing capabilities
• Familiarity with banking environments and managing change initiatives
• Proficiency in developing and monitoring detailed project plans
• Experience managing financial performance metrics and budgets
• Track record of producing high-quality deliverables and adapting to feedback
• Knowledge of analytical tools for effective progress tracking and reporting

It is a strong plus if you have:

• PMP training or certification
• Deep understanding of banking processes and change-driven benefits
• Experience in driving transformation initiatives within a financial environment
