Expert MLOps Engineer - available ASAP

Fully remote opportunity!

As a Machine Learning Platform Engineer, you will work with our client on building and enhancing a cutting-edge Analytical Platform using Azure Databricks. Your role will focus on designing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient infrastructure to support Data Science teams in developing, deploying, and monitoring machine learning models. You will be key in implementing best practices for MLOps, optimizing cloud resources, and ensuring smooth integration of ML solutions with business systems. 

Your main responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain a secure, scalable ML platform on Azure Databricks

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for ML workflows to enable continuous integration and deployment

• Implement real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and version control for ML models

• Collaborate closely with Data Science teams to automate ML pipelines, enforce best practices, and support production deployments

• Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency

• Troubleshoot pipeline issues and manage incidents effectively

• Integrate ML solutions with enterprise systems and BPMN workflows in partnership with corporate architects

• Define and enforce standards and best practices for platform usage and security compliance

  
  

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in MLOps or ML platform engineering

• Strong expertise with Azure and Azure Databricks (configuration, deployment, maintenance)

• Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL; R is a plus

• Deep understanding of the machine learning lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring, and retiring models)

• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

• Familiarity with MLFlow, Spark, REST APIs

• Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps

• Skills in Infrastructure as Code, especially Terraform

• Excellent analytical, communication, and teamwork skills

  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with AI project implementations

• Knowledge of cloud cost optimization techniques

• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana

• Understanding of security frameworks like ISO27001 and Identity & Access Management

• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF

• Experience with additional ML lifecycle tools and frameworks
