As an Expert Connectivity Carrier Manager – EMEA, you will be working for our client, a leading international financial services organization. You will play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our client’s carrier relationships across Europe and the Middle East, ensuring the bank’s connectivity infrastructure is robust, compliant, and cost-efficient. Your main responsibilities:
- Lead our client’s Connectivity team with all carrier-related matters within the EMEA region.
- Support the global carrier manager in building a resilient and efficient carrier management function.
- Maintain an accurate and current inventory of carriers across multiple markets.
- Define and implement governance and processes for carrier management, including service/performance tracking, contract management, and third-party oversight.
- Ensure carrier compliance with our client’s standards and evidencing adherence through rigorous monitoring.
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to negotiate and secure optimal commercial terms.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party carriers.
- Participate in contractual negotiations, renewals, and market evaluations, including RFP processes.
- Provide management with clear visibility into carrier performance and key metrics.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the technology sector, with a focus on telecoms infrastructure and services.
- Proven expertise in managing complex IT infrastructure within regulated environments.
- Strong knowledge of industry-standard carrier services and infrastructure/circuits.
- Experience working within the financial services or banking sector preferred.
- Solid experience in managing third-party vendors and suppliers.
- Excellent commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
- Ability to communicate technical matters effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to relationship management.
- Fluent in English, with good command of Polish.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
- Certifications in telecom or vendor management.
- Previous experience working in a multinational organization.
