As a Cybersecurity Model Governance Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution undergoing an exciting transformation in digital security and AI integration. You’ll be joining their Cybersecurity Science & Analytics team, where you will help ensure that the development and use of AI/ML models across the organization are compliant, secure, and well-governed. This role involves collaborating with cybersecurity specialists, data scientists, and project managers to support the full model governance lifecycle—helping maintain regulatory standards, model integrity, and process efficiency in a highly dynamic and innovative environment.
Your main responsibilities:
- Supporting the end-to-end model governance process from intake to closure
- Reviewing AI/ML model use cases for compliance with governance standards
- Managing model inventory, validation tracking, and change controls
- Documenting model lifecycle information and ensuring audit readiness
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal governance
- Communicating with stakeholders across cybersecurity and risk teams
- Assisting with the improvement of policies, processes, and governance tools
- Contributing to automation and process optimization within model governance
- Coordinating tasks in Agile workflows and supporting project delivery
- Ensuring data quality and consistency in governance documentation
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Understanding of model risk, governance, or AI/ML lifecycle
- Experience working in or with cybersecurity, compliance, or risk teams
- Familiarity with regulatory and internal audit expectations
- Strong documentation and communication skills for stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple governance tasks
- Experience supporting Agile or project-based environments
- A proactive, analytical mindset with attention to detail
- Knowledge of inventory management practices
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Background in data science, computer science, or cybersecurity
- Experience with GRC platforms or model management tools
- Knowledge of Python or scripting for automation
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems and cybersecurity tools
- Previous exposure to financial services or banking environments
