As a Cybersecurity Data Leakage Prevention Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in financial services, dedicated to safeguarding information assets and maintaining trust through cutting-edge cybersecurity technologies. Your main responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation and management of DLP policies across endpoints and Data in Motion/Data in Use security solutions.
- Administer and configure DLP agents on-premises and in cloud environments, managing exceptions and policy adjustments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, test, and deploy automation scripts and test plans ensuring robust security controls.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to security incidents related to data leakage, escalating issues as necessary.
- Document and communicate technical solutions, maintaining clear records using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Ensure compliance with global data security policies and support regulatory audits and reporting processes.
- Engage with vendors and internal teams to optimize security tools and processes within a regulated environment.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
- Over 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint Security.
- Proficiency with at least two DLP products such as Symantec DLP, Proofpoint, or Trellix.
- Strong experience configuring and managing DLP policies, including exceptions management.
- Demonstrable skills in system administration, agent management, and cloud/on-premise environments.
- Knowledge of Data in Motion and Data in Use security principles.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Formal education in Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
It is a strong plus if you have:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or vendor-specific security certifications.
- Experience with test automation, scripting, and security incident response.
Language required for the role:
- Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly and confidently.
