Control-M Administrator – Unix/Linux Automation Specialist

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week) or 1 day per month for Candidates located in further voivodeships.

As a Control-M Administrator, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution committed to optimizing IT processes and advancing digital transformation. Your expertise will be crucial in developing cutting-edge solutions to maximize Control-M platform capabilities, empowering both IT and business teams through innovative automation.

Your main responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and support new Control-M instances in Unix/Linux environments

• Drive environment testing including performance, regression, and stress assessments

• Troubleshoot and resolve Control-M application and infrastructure issues

• Collaborate with application teams to design and implement platform solutions

• Develop and maintain Control-M infrastructure components based on user needs

• Follow best practices for software engineering in code development

• Document SOPs and facilitate knowledge transfer to support teams

• Engage with vendors for support, updates, and enhancements

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of experience as a Control-M Administrator

• Strong command of English, both verbal and written

• Proven expertise supporting Control-M on Unix/Linux platforms

• Experience testing, deploying, and managing new Control-M features and fix packs

• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment

• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GIT, and Ansible

• Experience with Control-M scheduling including JSON, XML, and AAPI

• Familiarity with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with logging and monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Thousand Eyes)

• Hands-on deployment of new Control-M functionality and fix packs

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English
