As a Mainframe Security Specialist, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity technology, dedicated to safeguarding critical infrastructure and enterprise platforms. Your mission will be to develop, maintain, and enhance the Mainframe (IBMz) Security Framework, ensuring the integrity and resilience of core systems that support vital business operations worldwide. Your main responsibilities:

• Deliver and maintain the Mainframe (IBMz) Security Framework, contributing to all related domain activities.

• Define and manage Mainframe (IBMz) security projects to meet strategic objectives.

• Develop and implement security processes aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.

• Drive security excellence and continuous improvement within the Mainframe security domain.

• Operate as a first line of defense, ensuring compliance with policies and standards across all Mainframe systems.

• Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners to foster collaboration on security initiatives.

• Monitor security controls, identify opportunities for efficiency, and implement improvements.

• Support audit and compliance activities, addressing issues proactively and effectively.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in Mainframe security or related enterprise security domains.

• Strong knowledge of IBMz (zSeries) Mainframe systems and security architecture.

• Proficiency in defining and managing security frameworks and controls for large-scale environments.

• Experience with security policies, risk management, and compliance standards relevant to financial services or large enterprises.

• Ability to operate autonomously, solve problems proactively, and communicate effectively across diverse teams.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.

It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar security credentials.

• Knowledge of security tooling and automation within Mainframe environments.

• Experience working within global or multicultural teams.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills to engage effectively across international teams and stakeholders.
