Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (6 days per month in the office).
As a Cloud Security Consultant, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity and cloud governance. In this role, you will support the design, implementation, and monitoring of cloud security controls across multiple regions, driving improvements in cloud security posture and governance. This is a unique chance to contribute to global cybersecurity initiatives and to grow your expertise within a dynamic international environment.
Your main responsibilities:
Collaborate with Cyber Control Owners and stakeholders to ensure governance and measurement of cybersecurity controls on cloud platforms align with industry best practices and organizational frameworks.
Design, implement, and maintain preventive, detective, and corrective controls to enhance cloud security effectiveness and performance.
Review cloud-related architectural artifacts to verify accuracy, relevance, and compliance.
Drive continuous automation and process improvements in cloud security to ensure high quality and predictability.
Support incident management activities, including analysis, reporting, and review of security incidents.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure necessary uplifts and upgrades in security controls and operations.
Define business requirements and participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) for future cloud security features.
Facilitate meetings and forums to promote security awareness and best practices.
You're ideal for this role if you have:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in cybersecurity, risk, and controls management.
Proven hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure, or Alibaba).
Strong technical skills including SQL, cloud security services, and automation tools (Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
Knowledge of CI/CD frameworks, Infrastructure-as-Code, and programming basics (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
Proficiency in technical documentation and fluent written English.
It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)
Experience with GRC tools and data analysis.
Background in project or program management.
Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC).
Language Required for the role:
Fluent English command.
