Business-System Analyst

Kraków - based opportunity - 2 days from the office 3 days remotely

As a Technical Business Analyst, you will be working for our client, a global financial services leader focused on modernizing their digital infrastructure and embracing decentralized technologies. You will be supporting the transformation of legacy systems and processes into decentralized, agile, and data-driven environments. In this role, you are collaborating with both business stakeholders and engineering teams to define, document, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with business goals. Your work is essential in bridging the gap between strategic business needs and robust technical implementation, contributing to the evolution of next-generation financial platforms.

Your main responsibilities:

• Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical and functional requirements
• Translating complex business needs into detailed technical specifications and user stories
• Facilitating workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on solution direction
• Supporting Agile delivery teams by clarifying requirements and refining backlogs
• Creating documentation including workflows, data models, and system diagrams
• Coordinating with developers and testers to ensure technical alignment and system quality
• Assisting in system testing and supporting user acceptance testing phases
• Monitoring progress and reporting risks, issues, and dependencies to leadership
• Identifying opportunities for process and performance improvements
• Staying informed on emerging DAO, Web3, and blockchain technologies to inform solution design

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst or in a similar hybrid role
• Strong knowledge of business process analysis and systems integration
• Proficiency in gathering, documenting, and translating requirements into technical deliverables
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks and experience in writing user stories
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with data modeling, system architecture, and SQL databases
• Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and similar project management software
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking capabilities
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in the financial services or banking sector
• Hands-on exposure to DAO concepts, blockchain, or Web3 technologies
• Knowledge of PL/SQL, Python, or PySpark
• Familiarity with cloud-based architecture and DevOps environments
• Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA) or Agile certifications (CSM)
