Senior Analytics Engineer with Power BI skills

We are looking for a Senior Analytics Engineer with Power BI skills to deliver end-to-end reporting solutions—from data acquisition to visual analytics—using Microsoft’s modern data stack. Customer is a leading global provider of software, systems, and service solutions to the retail industries and restaurants.

EU residence is a must.

Responsibilities

• Acquire data from sources such as sFTP, API, oData, and Azure Blob using Azure Data Factory
• Stage data in Azure Data Lake
• Transform data into facts and dimensions within Azure Synapse
• Build a semantic layer by converting structured tables into Power BI datasets
• Use M Query and DAX to implement reliable calculations
• Create insightful and visually compelling Power BI reports, using tools like Deneb or similar ones
• Leverage experience with the Microsoft Data Stack and Microsoft Fabric

Requirements:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Data Stack (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and Power BI)
• Proficiency in M Query and DAX
• Experience in data modeling (facts/dimensions)
• Familiarity with Deneb or similar advanced Power BI visualization tools
• English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher

Will be a plus:

• Experience with AI
• Exposure to enterprise systems such as Dynamics FO, Salesforce (Sales/Service/Engagement Clouds), Power BI Reports, and Custom Apps
• Ability to analyze UI of the existing systems and suggest improvements to enhance user adoption across platforms
