Kraków - based opportunity with hybrid work model (2 days/week in the office).

As a BI Developer, you will be working for our client, a global financial institution, contributing to the development of data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards using Google Looker and Looker Studio, ensuring data accuracy and efficiency. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather requirements and optimize ETL processes using DBT and Google BigQuery. Operating in an Agile environment, you will support decision-making by providing clear and actionable insights, working alongside diverse teams across multiple regions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Developing dashboards in Google Looker and Looker Studio
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized data visualizations
• Supporting ETL processes in DBT and Google BigQuery, including data ingestion, refinement, and presentation
• Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency through automated validation solutions
• Designing, developing, testing, coding, and deploying data solutions to production
• Working closely with global and cross-functional teams to align data strategies
• Implementing and maintaining efficient data schemas and marts for reporting needs
• Managing orchestration and scheduling of data workflows
• Adopting DevOps best practices in BI development, ensuring continuous improvement
• Operating in an Agile product-oriented environment, prioritizing quality and timely delivery

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 7 years of professional experience in BI, dashboarding, and SQL
• Extensive experience in BI dashboards development
• Strong proficiency with Google Looker and Looker Studio
• Expertise in SQL for ETL development and data engineering
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery
• Proven ability to implement automated data quality solutions
• Experience designing and optimizing data schemas and marts
• Familiarity with orchestration and scheduling tools for data workflows
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles in BI environments
• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with data governance and security best practices
• Familiarity with Python for data processing and automation
• Background in financial services or banking industries
• Experience with real-time data processing solutions
