As a Senior Application Operations Engineer, you will be working for our client, a leading industry player in data center migration projects. Your role will center around ensuring the stability and continuity of critical payment card processing applications during complex infrastructure transitions. Join a dynamic environment where your expertise will directly impact secure financial transactions and drive technological evolution.

Your main responsibilities:

• Perform the role of AppOps for application migration projects within the data center migration program, supporting critical payment processing systems.

• Configure, administer, and maintain applications serving payment card acceptance, issuing, and acquiring business processes.

• Monitor the correct operation and performance of application environments, ensuring system reliability and resilience.

• Support application servers by troubleshooting incidents, resolving operational problems, and implementing necessary changes in production.

• Collaborate closely with Application & Middleware teams to perform BAU tasks, build, test, and migrate to new environments, including infrastructure setup and access requests.

• Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize downtime.

• Produce detailed, high-quality live documentation using tools like Confluence.

• Work with internal and external technical teams, including international vendors and support groups, to address challenges and implement solutions.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of application availability, performance, monitoring, and resilience for online transaction systems.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• At least 5 years of experience in application operations, especially in application migrations or data center projects.

• Proficiency in PL/SQL /T-SQL.

• Strong skills in scripting languages: Perl, PowerShell, Shell, Bash, Python.

• Experience working with FTS Application & Middleware Teams.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Polish, both written and spoken.

• Excellent understanding of transaction processing systems, infrastructure, network solutions, load balancing, and TLS.

• Proven experience in managing critical online and mass transaction processing environments.

• Knowledge of system availability, performance, monitoring, and resilience best practices.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to technical challenges.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience in international or multinational projects.

• Certifications related to application management, infrastructure, or security.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English and Polish, both written and spoken.
