(Cybersecurity) Senior Project Manager

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be working for our client, a leading financial institution. You will manage critical projects focusing on integrating systems, optimizing products, and automating workflows to enhance cybersecurity measures. This role requires exceptional leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment, ensuring successful delivery of cutting-edge solutions.

Your main responsibilities:

• Deliver medium-sized projects to support system integrations, product optimization, and workflow automation
• Produce comprehensive project and user test plans
• Define project requirements to align with key cybersecurity priorities
• Manage governance processes such as external hosting committees and data compliance reviews
• Update and implement operational processes to support new features and tools
• Track and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the lifecycle
• Align project activities with broader program objectives by working with program managers
• Deliver successful outcomes, ensuring projects are on time and within budget
• Provide status reports and ad hoc updates on project health to stakeholders
• Facilitate transitions and handover to BAU teams with clear criteria and delivery expectations

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• Proven experience delivering cloud-based solutions
• Expertise in managing technology delivery within complex organizations
• Proficiency in defining business requirements and conducting user testing
• Strong ability to create and manage detailed project plans
• Excellent planning and reporting skills
• Capacity to manage workloads in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Fluent English
• Ability to lead escalations and manage senior stakeholder expectations
• A results-driven mindset with attention to quality and detail
• Quick learning abilities and adaptability to evolving priorities

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Experience with global cybersecurity strategies
• Familiarity with external hosting committee processes and data compliance frameworks
• Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills
• Prior exposure to automated workflow implementation
• Experience in a financial or regulatory industry setting
