PenTester (Burp Suite, AI-driven Red Teaming)

Summary:

The Cyber Assurance Analyst is a security specialist responsible for conducting security testing of ISS systems, applications, and infrastructure. This role involves ongoing verification of potential security weaknesses and vulnerabilities, assuming the perspective of an "adversary" to preemptively identify and report security risks.

Main purpose for the position:

The Cyber Assurance Analyst plays a critical role in safeguarding ISS's IT estate by identifying and addressing security weaknesses before they can be exploited by real adversaries. This involves performing security testing, identifying vulnerabilities, and collaborating on remediation efforts to ensure robust security controls.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Continuously perform testing to ensure that security controls and requirements are implemented.
• Identify gaps, weaknesses, and vulnerabilities in ISS Security controls, applications, and IT estate.
• Conduct penetration testing/security testing on ISS IT applications, including mobile applications.
• Verify and assist in the remediation of security weaknesses and vulnerabilities in ISS IT applications.
• Facilitate internal “Red team” security engagements.

Professional Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of experience with penetration and security testing.
• Strong knowledge of IT security and security testing.
• Proficiency in using Burp Suite for security testing.
• Reasonable knowledge of malware techniques and vulnerability exploits.
