Software Developer (.NET, BI, SQL)

We are looking for a Software Developer (.NET, BI, SQL) to join a project carried out as part of a public tender for the development and maintenance of enterprise-class IT systems for a European Agency operating in Poland.

What you’ll be doing: 

• Designing and developing enterprise-level software solutions using .NET technologies, SharePoint, and React.

• Translating business and technical requirements into clear, practical software designs and prototypes.

• Proposing and implementing technical solutions that meet business needs and solve complex challenges.

• Leading development teams and supporting them throughout the project lifecycle.

• Setting and maintaining software development standards to ensure high-quality, consistent, and secure code.

• Optimizing applications for performance, security, and overall quality.

• Estimating development effort and timelines, contributing to project planning and delivery.

• Managing configuration, version control, and software releases.

• Preparing and maintaining technical documentation to support development, operations, and testing.

• Contributing to requirements analysis, testing, quality assurance, change management, and deployment activities.

• Creating internal testing tools and supporting second- and third-line technical support as needed.

• Collecting and interpreting software metrics to drive improvements in quality and performance.

You will be the best fit if you have: 

• At least one certification in a software development technology domain (Microsoft Business Intelligence, .NET, or similar) at an intermediate level, or an equivalent internationally recognized certificate.

• English level B2 or higher.

• At least a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

• Experience in at least two projects focused on design, implementation, and deployment of solutions based on Microsoft Business Intelligence or similar technologies, including at least one complete solution lifecycle.

• At least 3 years of experience working in .NET development.

• Proficient in designing and developing complete software solutions, including data layer, business logic layer, and UI layer, with strong knowledge of databases, SQL, ETL, reporting, OLAP, and data mining tools.

• Expert in developing enterprise-level software systems in the specified technology domain, with hands-on experience in Scrum-based environments.

• Knowledge of UML and the ability to design applications using UML diagrams.

• Ability to lead technical teams, solve problems effectively, and document technical solutions clearly and effectively.
