About project:

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join the team of our Irish client in the cybersecurity industry. The main goals of the project are to work on current microservices, support existing teams and to gradually improve the functionality of the client's product portfolio. Due to the increased workload within the project, we are looking for a person who can start in January.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developing new microservices as well as supporting existing teams in further development.
• Propose new solutions to encountered challenges in the project.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to ensure the quality, stability, and maintainability of the code base.
• Collaborate with other developers, test engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

You will be the best fit if you have:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Golang (at least 3 years) and previous experience with other languages like PHP, Python.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and related tools such as Docker, Kubernetes and cloud services.
• Experience working with relational databases (CockroachDB).
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with concepts such as GitOps and DevOps.
• Excellent command in English (at least B2+).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication and organizational skills
• Focus on writing high-quality, stable, and easy-to-maintain code.
• Nice to have ability to troubleshoot issues related to network applications, SMTP, and DNS protocols.
