Location: Wroclaw, Poland

Work arrangement: 100% remote, full-time

For our Client we are looking for Senior Data Engineer.

Digital & IT manages the overall IT strategies and has the end-to-end responsibility for all development, delivery, support of IT solutions and services.

Looking for Data Engineer – to support the data and productization journey to the cloud.

Responsibillities:

• We have the ambition to make sure that data analytics is appropriately embedded in all business processes. You will join our agile product team focusing on creating business value through digital products. You will contribute to enabling new, data-driven services working on the following activities:

  • Optimize existing flows

  • Support in building the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources

  • Work closely with data analysts to provide required data structures

  • Keep the data secure across the end-to-end solutions

  • Evaluate and improve existing data analytics solutions

  • Collaborate with teams to integrate systems

Requirements:

• Development in Microsoft SQL Server BI stack (T-SQL, SSIS)

• Understanding of various data structures – data warehouses, tabular

• ETL development – good knowledge of designing and developing high-performing ETL packages in SSIS

• Programming languages: T-SQL

• Excellent communication skills in English

• High analytical skills

• Strong task management skills

• Problem-solving approach

• Proactive attitude

Good to have:

• Knowledge of these services: Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Spark or Python

• Having a pro-active attitude

• Curious for new technologies and open for a change

• Experience in AGILE project methodology and practice
