AWS DevOps Engineer

Role: Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

Location: Poland / Spain (Remote)

Overview:We’re looking for a seasoned DevOps pro to help automate and run our AWS-based systems, with a focus on streaming, databases, and scalable tooling.

What you’ll do:

• Design, build, and maintain DevOps pipelines and automation for production and staging environments.

• Keep production systems running smoothly and reliably.

• Write clear docs, sample code, tutorials, and best-practice guidance for tech and business stakeholders.

• Create tools and standards to scale the development team.

Must-haves:

• 6+ years in DevOps or related roles (consulting, industry, or tech).

• Strong AWS experience, especially with Kafka/MSK automation, and AWS DocumentDB.

• Experience with MongoDB; familiarity with AWS RDS, Oracle, NoSQL (Couchbase or similar), and Go is a plus.

• Ability to document, teach, and present complex topics to varied audiences.

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience with Kafka/AWS MSK automation.

• Deep knowledge of production operations for databases and streaming data.
