Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced AEM/Marketing Automation Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of AEM and integrated marketing automation solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise in AEM and Adobe Marketing Cloud products, combined with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and technology architects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and architect end-to-end AEM solutions aligned with business goals, ensuring scalability, security, and optimal performance across digital channels.
Lead the integration of AEM with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), Adobe Launch, and other marketing automation tools to deliver personalized and data-driven customer experiences.
Serve as the technical subject matter expert for AEM and marketing automation platforms, providing guidance on best practices, coding standards, and architectural governance.
Collaborate closely with other technology architects, developers, content authors, and stakeholders to gather requirements, align on technical strategies, and ensure seamless interoperability.
Oversee the full project lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support in Agile environments.
Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and user guides.
Mentor and coach development teams to enhance skills and promote engineering rigor such as Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration.
Stay current with emerging Adobe technologies and industry trends to continuously improve digital marketing capabilities.
Required Skills and Expertise:
Expert-level knowledge of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) architecture, components, APIs, and development best practices.
Proficiency with Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), and Adobe Launch for marketing automation and personalization.
Strong understanding of web technologies including Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
Experience integrating AEM with external systems such as CRM, ERP, and other marketing platforms.
Solid grasp of software design patterns, API design, and service-oriented architectures.
Familiarity with cloud services and deployment strategies for AEM, including scaling and high availability.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to collaborate and align with other technology architects and cross-functional teams.
Experience working in Agile project environments and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a strategic mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in AEM or related Adobe certifications.
Experience leading digital marketing platform architecture and integration.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards relevant to digital marketing platforms.
