Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js + React)

INCORE is looking to hire a Full Stack Web Developer.

We’re a boutique digital agency serving U.S. clients across healthcare, education, manufacturing, and more. Clients rely on us to grow their online presence through strategy, design, development, automation, and digital marketing. You’ll architect, build, and ship modern web applications and sites that are fast, reliable, and built to scale.

🥸 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional full stack development experience (agency or product environments preferred).

• Proficient in React, Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS.

• Strong back-end skills in Node.js with experience using PostgreSQL or other relational databases.

• Proficient in code-first database migrations.

• Experience with PayloadCMS or similar headless CMS platforms.

• Solid understanding of client-side JavaScript.

• Knowledge of CSS flex and grid layout, transitions, animations, and responsive/mobile-first design.

• Working knowledge of Git, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience with Figma — able to interpret designs, work with Dev Mode specs, and collaborate closely with designers.

• Understanding of the differences between image formats, knowing how to optimize images for high-dpi screens and when to use SVGs.

• AI tool proficiency: Demonstrated ability to use AI-powered development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) as a core part of your workflow — not occasionally, but fluently. This includes using AI for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and accelerating development cycles.

• Ability to audit websites for performance and recommend optimization solutions.

• Self-confident communicator — comfortable working directly with clients via video calls and email.

• Near-native English fluency required — confident, articulate communicator comfortable presenting technical solutions and leading client discussions.

Nice‑to‑Haves:

• Only to support existing and legacy client projects:

  • Experience with WordPress (including WooCommerce, ACF, and Gravity Forms).

  • Understanding of object-oriented PHP and MySQL.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Jest, or similar.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development environments.

• Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.

• Exposure to React Native or mobile development.

• Familiarity with automation platforms (Zapier, Make, or N8N).

• Experience integrating third-party APIs, CRMs, ERPs, and analytics pipelines.

• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals and how development decisions impact search performance.

⛑️ Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js with PostgreSQL.

• Build and manage content-driven sites using PayloadCMS, ensuring clean architecture and scalability.

• Translate Figma designs into pixel-perfect, responsive, and accessible front-end implementations.

• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and marketers to scope, estimate, and deliver projects on time.

• Analyze existing codebases, identify problems, recommend solutions, and estimate implementation timelines.

• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows, and deployment processes.

• Audit websites for speed, performance, and accessibility — and implement improvements.

• Support existing WordPress client projects as needed, including plugin development, template customization, and WooCommerce configuration.

• Leverage AI development tools (Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate workflows while maintaining code quality and human review standards.

• Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, present technical solutions, and provide progress updates.

• Contribute to internal tooling, processes, and best practices that improve team efficiency.

• Impact: Own the technical execution of web projects from architecture to deployment. Your work will directly shape client outcomes — site performance, reliability, and user experience. You’ll help define INCORE’s technical direction.

• Environment: Remote‑first, collaborative, and pragmatic. We value craft, clear communication, and shipping on time.

• Tooling: React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, Node.js, PostgreSQL, PayloadCMS, Figma, Git/GitHub, ClickUp for project tracking, Google Workspace/Slack for collaboration, and AI tools (Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate development — used responsibly and aligned with code quality and UX standards.

• Schedule: Remote availability with consistent overlap during core hours of 9 AM–3 PM Eastern Time (GMT -4). Flexibility on the rest of your day.
