GCP Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads and infrastructure automation. If you are passionate about building robust cloud environments and driving DevOps best practices, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

• Architect and manage HPC workloads and containerized solutions on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).

• Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (mandatory).

• Develop automation scripts and tools in Python, Bash, or Go to streamline infrastructure management.

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines in line with DevOps methodologies.

• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using tools such as GCP Operations Suite (formerly Stackdriver), Prometheus, and Grafana.

• Design and manage network configurations, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.

• Collaborate with security, development, and operations teams to align infrastructure solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering with a significant focus on GCP.

• Experience with HPC (High Performance Computing) workloads on GCP.

• Deep knowledge of core GCP services including Compute Engine, GKE, VPC, Cloud Storage, IAM, Cloud DNS, and Load Balancing.

• Proven expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.

• Strong scripting capabilities in Python, Bash, or Go.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the GCP Operations Suite.

• Professional Cloud Architect Certification (Google Cloud) — validates advanced knowledge in designing GCP solutions.

• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
