Cloud Solution Architect Telco & GenAI

We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect to join a forward-looking project in the telecommunications sector, focused on Vector Search, Agent-based architectures, and GenAI-driven solutions. The role is remote within EMEA time zones, with a strong emphasis on high-level solution design and innovation in the AI/ML space on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, production-grade cloud solutions tailored to the telco industry

• Lead architecture for vector search systems and intelligent agent frameworks

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineering teams on GenAI initiatives

• Translate business needs into technical solutions using GCP services

• Ensure architecture aligns with security, compliance, and performance requirements

• Present technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

• Support implementation teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, ideally in telecom or AI-heavy environments

• Deep understanding of GCP and its data/AI service offerings

• Experience with vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), or agent-based systems

• Familiarity with LLMs and GenAI architecture principles

• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)

• Ability to work independently in a distributed team across time zones

• Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) or equivalent GCP certification required
