Senior Data Scientist II

As we continue to expand, we’re looking for dedicated and ambitious individuals to join our journey of growth and success.As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be working with project teams and business stakeholders to design and implement advanced data science models to solve concrete business cases for our customers. You will deep dive into customer’s data, build solutions, generate actionable insights and apply machine learning models to generate business value and drive insights. You will have a tangible impact on existing and future solutions both internally and with the customer.  You will directly work in industry projects and engage with external stakeholders to identify, investigate and analyze business processes and work practices.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of practical experience in data science, statistical modeling, and analytics solution development.

• Strong expertise in machine learning, regression models, tree based models, statistical modeling, machine learning, and time series analysis for demand forecasting at scale.

• Solid understanding of supply chain domains such as planning, demand forecasting, or replenishment, including knowledge of end-to-end business processes.

• Proficiency in Python and SQL server, with demonstrated ability to write, review, and maintain clean, well-structured, and efficient code.

• Strong visualization skills (Power BI)

• Experience with Databricks

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with peers and clients to deliver agreed outcomes.

• Fluency in business English, both written and spoken.

• Educational background in a technical or quantitative field such as Computer Science, Operations Research, Data Science, Engineering, Economics, or another STEM discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead communication and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define, design, and deliver analytical solutions aligned with supply chain objectives.

• Analyze datasets across multiple systems to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven strategies.

• Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to improve forecast accuracy and planning efficiency.

• Transform analytical outputs into insights and actionable recommendations for clients.

• Present analytical results visually and verbally to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Support the integration of models into production environments and ensure code quality and maintainability.

• Stay current with emerging technologies in data science and supply chain optimization.

Nice to have

• Experience working with IoT/sensor data and factory schedule optimization

• Working knowledge of Git, DevOps pipelines, and CI/CD practices.

• Experience operating within Agile project environments.

• Exposure to scalable solution design and data architecture considerations in enterprise settings.
