Senior Azure DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client’s global team developing cutting-edge generative AI chatbot solutions. These solutions will play a pivotal role in enabling Operating Companies (OpCos) worldwide to optimize daily operations across key functions such as supply chain, finance, and commerce.

You will collaborate with a dynamic Business Intelligence team within the Global Process Management (GPM) unit, which focuses on delivering innovative, scalable, and efficient global solutions. This team drives initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and user experiences on a global scale, and your role will be crucial in enabling the seamless delivery and maintenance of these solutions.

As a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer, you will:

• set up, manage, and maintain IT infrastructure for AI chatbot systems, with a focus on cloud services
• define and establish processes for development, testing, release, updates, and support in DevOps operations
• develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate building, testing, and deployment of chatbot applications and updates
• set up monitoring and logging systems to track performance and health of the infrastructure, ensuring quick detection and resolution of issues
• implement security best practices, including managing access controls, conducting security audits, and securing deployments
• collaborate with developers, architects, and other team members to ensure smooth integration of chatbot solutions within the infrastructure
• design and implement scalable solutions to handle increasing numbers of users and interactions without performance degradation
• manage and respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures
• develop and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability
• document setups, processes, and automation scripts to support collaboration and future reference
• continuously evaluate and integrate new tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and reliability
• mentor team members and provide guidance on best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps.

We expect:

• at least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role
• strong expertise in Azure Cloud and Azure Resource Manager
• proficiency in Azure DevOps, including pipelines, branching strategies, and deployment workflows
• strong knowledge of Git, Bicep, and Bash scripting
• proficiency in Python – critical for automation and integration
• experience working with cloud-native applications and integrating them with AI-driven systems
• understanding of integration points between cloud infrastructure and chatbot solutions
• understanding of security best practices and the ability to apply them effectively
• ability to quickly diagnose and resolve critical issues
• excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal)
• strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• willingness to train and mentor team members
• understanding of Agile methodologies.

Nice to have:

• experience with AI, LLMs, or chatbot projects
• certification in AZ-305 or similar
• experience with C# programming
• familiarity with NoSQL databases and their integration into cloud-based systems.
