Your career opportunity

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join the Global CTO Data GDT Wholesale, MSS & ESG team. This team delivers Data Analytics and Machine Learning solutions across both on-premises and cloud environments. The role reports to the Data Validation Lead and involves working closely with stakeholders across IT and business functions.

What you’ll do

⦁ Develop and implement data validation solutions for batch and near-real-time data ingestion.

⦁ Manage data validation frameworks for diverse source types across on-premises and cloud platforms.

⦁ Design and maintain microservices-based, containerized DV solutions to ensure scalability.

⦁ Automate infrastructure setup and deployment processes to improve efficiency.

⦁ Identify bottlenecks and performance issues, recommending optimizations.

⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in the validation process.

⦁ Document technical solutions, best practices, and process improvements.

⦁ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align DV solutions with business needs.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

⦁ Experience in data ingestion and validation techniques.

⦁ Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Perl scripting.

⦁ Strong knowledge of SQL databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).

⦁ Understanding of microservices architecture and API-based communication.

⦁ Familiarity with messaging systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub, IBM MQ, etc.).

⦁ Basic knowledge of networking, system administration, and vulnerability scanning.

⦁ Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.

⦁ Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical
