Your career opportunity
You will be a member of the Global Cybersecurity Core Engineering team. This team is responsible for identifying, developing and deploying global cybersecurity controls across the estate leveraging the firm’s assets, network and data to identify threats. You will partner heavily with IT Infrastructure Delivery (ITID) and support the end-to-end secure deployment of security technologies across the firm.
What you’ll do
- Collaborate with Linux management teams, Cybersecurity, and other IT teams to develop protective solutions for the organization.
- Design and implement service offerings, capability enhancements, and process improvements to address the evolving threat landscape.
- Provide thought leadership, consultation, and expertise on Cybersecurity, Endpoint Security, and Antimalware issues.
- Review and document the current technology baseline and develop the target technology posture.
- Conduct gap analysis between the current baseline and target architecture.
- Redesign domain processes using new technologies to enhance domain performance.
- Deliver centralized, global cybersecurity services to reduce costs and ensure compliance with IT requirements.
- Research and manage third-party vendors to support functional objectives while driving transformational change and capability uplift across the bank.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Senior hands-on Linux experience with a focus on endpoint security and antimalware solutions.
- Previous exposure to CrowdStrike or similar endpoint protection tools, as well as cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure) and tools like GIT, Ansible, Puppet, and Jenkins.
- Proficiency in automating security tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
- Experience in implementing and managing endpoint/antimalware security solutions as both an individual contributor and a lead.
- Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborating with experts to implement security solutions that reduce organizational risk.
- Strong understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigations for operating systems, along with knowledge of security best practices.
- Extensive experience securing endpoints and integrating security products in large-scale environments.
- Excellent communication, troubleshooting, mentoring, and collaborative skills, with a commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
