We are looking for skilled individuals for the Global Payments Solution Team. Team is responsible for technical stability and systems lifecycle for a lot of Tier0 and Tier1 payments systems. GPS Team (Global Payments Solution) consists of many smaller sub teams with around 5-10 people each. Each of them handles different technology and systems responsible for unique step in global payment flow. Teamwork in mission critical environment across a breadth of technologies from vendor products to in-house developed micro services. This offer is aimed at people who are eager to work in dynamic team supporting complex application environments and to use progressive technology with priority on stability and automation of daily work. Because of various technologies used around Global Payment Solution, candidate will have opportunities to grow and learn new skills and especially technologies used around real time processing.

What you’ll do

• Providing full scope of the day-to-day Production Support - troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize system downtime and impact on business operations.
• Provide technical support to end users, addressing queries and resolving issues related to production applications.
• Document and manage incidents using ticketing systems, ensuring thorough tracking and resolution of issues.
• Work closely with development team to address bugs, implement fixes and perform root cause analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance system efficiency & reliability.
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide coverage for critical production issues/changes during weekends.
• Report and investigate alerts related to payments using SQL/Splunk, while maintaining the SLAs.
• Assist with the deployment of new applications, updates and patches to production environments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal impact on users/operation.

What you need to have to succeed in this role

• Basic knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
• General knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Payments.
• Experience with shell scripting (Bash, Python, etc.) for automation purpose.
• Knowledge of system monitoring and performance tuning.
• Understanding of security best practices.
• Understanding of the payment processing lifecycle and protocols.
