Senior Software Engineer (PHP)

You have a proven track record of working within in-house product teams (SaaS or complex internal platforms). We are looking for someone who understands the long-term product lifecycle, not just project-based delivery.

📌 Work model: Poland, Fully Remote

🗣️ Languages: fluent English & Polish 

🤓 Your role: The role is focused primarily on new feature development (approx. 90–95% of the workload), with maintenance limited to bug fixes. Key initiatives include product integrations, developing e-commerce functionalities such as shopping lists, delivering cloud-based integrations (e.g., WebEx), API-level integrations with external partners and evolution of the design system.

Your role:

🖱️ Design, development, implementation, testing, and maintenance of web-based applications.

🖱️ Working in a feature team alongside the product designers, product managers, frontend team, and QA to continually elevate the product. 

🖱️ ​Ensuring quality, clean, tested code is produced (unit, integration, and other QA tests).

🖱️​ Creating, maintaining, and owning code and application documentation.

🖱️ Debugging and troubleshooting.

🖱️​ Coaching and mentoring junior software engineers in the team.

🖱️ ​Developing and maintaining a solid understanding of the technical architecture.

What will help you get the job done:

✅ 7+ years of experience in the development of commercial-grade web-based software applications from product company.

✅ Excellent knowledge of Symfony framework (v 5+).

✅A degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field is required. We value strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and software design patterns.

✅ Excellent English skills (written and spoken).

✅​Practical use of SOLID programming principles and Domain-Driven Design programming.

✅Demonstrated proficiency with data-driven web applications.​

✅ Experience working in Scrum/Kanban/Agile environment.​

✅​Ability to work well with business analysts, programmers and end users in a cross-functional team.
