🚀 About the role

Depending on your experience and skills, you may join one of the teams working on the fintech functionalities of our application or become part of the Platform Team.

1) Joining one of the Fintech Teams, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary engineering team on one of our fintech, client-facing functionalities.

2) Joining the Platform Team, you will collaborate directly with several software development teams across the organization to conceive, develop, and refine our core web applications. You will possess a unique ability to design and refine complex software architectures that enable the scaling of our core infrastructure.

Compensation: 6 500 - 8 000 USD per month (B2B)

🚀 What do you need to get this job?

• At least 4 years of professional experience in programming Rails applications;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering program, or equivalent work experience;
• Expert knowledge of Ruby and Rails;
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming;
• Excellent communication skills - you’ll be working with a dispersed team, so first-class communication is a must;
• Experience with Sidekiq;
• Practical understanding of SOLID principles;
• Ability to estimate, design, and build a small epic end-to-end;
• Fluency in Polish and English.

🚀 Additionally (if you’re interested in joining the Platform Team specifically):

• Solid experience with Kafka and eventing architecture;
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing large-scale, high-availability, and scalable systems with a focus on performance optimization;
• Can communicate and work independently with engineering leaders and architects to see through large epics;
• Depth of understanding and teaching ability in clean code, refactoring, and test-driven development;
• Strong proficiency with continuous integration/continuous deployment;
• *Proven experience and in-depth knowledge of designing and implementing authentication and authorization solutions and related security protocols.
