Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II on our mobile team, you collaborate with a mature, high-performing group of engineers to build mobile experiences that directly improve the daily lives of our service professionals (our Pros). You write clean, scalable, and maintainable code and actively contribute to the evolution of our mobile architecture. You are passionate about crafting intuitive mobile applications and strive for performance, quality, and responsiveness in everything you build. You proactively seek feedback, contribute ideas, and work across disciplines to deliver well-rounded features. You care about user feedback and use it to inform better product experiences. Our team is passionate, empathetic, hard working, and above all else focused on improving the lives of our service professionals (our Pros). Our success is their success.

Compensation: 4,500 - 6,000 USD per month

🚀  What you do each day:

• Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and Java

• Implement UI components using Jetpack Compose with a focus on performance and responsiveness

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end features

• Apply clean architecture patterns (MVI, MVVM, or MVP) to ensure maintainable and testable code

• Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and continuously improve code quality across the team

• Write and maintain unit and instrumentation tests to ensure application stability

• Monitor application performance and memory usage, applying optimizations when necessary

• Engage with the user community to understand feedback and improve product functionality

🚀 Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience developing Android applications

• Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Java

• Experience with Jetpack Compose and Android Architecture Components

• Familiarity with Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flow, and reactive programming paradigms

• Practical experience applying SOLID principles and clean architecture patterns (MVI, MVVM, MVP)

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes

• Fluency in Polish and English required

• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to improve workflows, streamline execution, or enhance outputs

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
