🚀 We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer with extensive experience in the area of Observability (graphana, prometious, loki, eleastic, etc) technologies. You will join our client's project remotely with expectations of occasional travel to Berlin to the client's office.

About the project:

The client is building an internal platform to help software teams develop and deliver products faster, tackling major challenges in the energy sector. This cloud-native, service-oriented platform provides application teams with self-service tools to build, run, and manage their software efficiently. It covers everything from infrastructure and data services to CI/CD and application operations. The platform runs in a hybrid cloud setup, combining private and select public clouds for flexibility and scalability.

In this role you will be responsible for:

• Designing and developing of core components of the observability platform
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for development and deployment.
• Automating processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Deploying and managing the observability stack in an on-premise environment.
• Documenting best practices for platform usage.
• Collaborating with customers to roll out and improve the platform based on feedback.
• Enhancing security practices, including RBAC for logs, metrics, and traces.
• Implementing security measures to protect the platform and its users.

You might be the perfect match if you possess the following competencies:

• 5+ years of previous hands-on experience in similar, especially in observability and performance monitoring,
• Deep understanding of the following tools:

-Grafana

-Prometheus

-ElasticSearch

-Kibana

-openTelemetry

-K8

-Kafka

• Experience in bringing to market cloud-native Observability tools in either private or public cloud environments
• Deep understanding of operations of infrastructure in a large-scale cloud environment
• Understanding of cloud platform and the building blocks
• Understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, DevOps practices, and IAM/RBAC principles and the associated observability solutions
• Competence in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity with the essentials of CI/CD pipeline management, including build, image registry, vulnerability scanning, and deployment processes.
• Experience with building infra using open-source tech and associated tools like Terraform or Helm
• Locations: Germany or Poland
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Berlin
