Power BI Developer (Snowflake, AWS)

We are looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join the team of our Swedish client's production and logistics organisation. You'll be working with an open, passionate team focused on BI solutions that deliver data-driven value to their customers. Together with the team, you will develop high quality BI solutions, including new projects as well as enhancing our existing portfolio with new requirements and performance adjustments. You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements using Scrum methodologies and sprints. The organisation is moving from an Oracle and SQL Server on-premises setup to a robust cloud platform with multiple data sources and reporting applications. You will play a critical role in transforming vast amounts of data into actionable insights, contributing directly to the company's data strategy. This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting edge BI solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with business and IT stakeholders to gather, document and implement reporting requirements;
• Develop and enhance BI solutions using Power BI, Snowflake and other cloud technologies;
• Design and implement data models to ensure high performance and scalability;
• Work with both cloud (AWS, Snowflake, Matillion) and on-premises platforms (Oracle, SQL Server), facilitating the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud environments;
• Participate in Scrum methodologies and sprints to ensure timely delivery of BI solutions;
• Support and optimise existing data solutions to ensure they meet evolving business needs.

We offer a B2B Contract:

• 120 – 140 PLN net/hour + VAT

You might be the perfect match if you are/have:

• BSc or MSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience);
• 4+ years of experience in Power BI development with strong knowledge of cloud technologies;
• Expertise in developing data analytics solutions and data lake applications using Snowflake and AWS services;
• Deep understanding of dimensional modelling, data access and storage;
• Advanced SQL skills and relational database experience;
• Experience with ETL tools such as Matillion, ODI or DBT;
• Familiarity with Tabular Editor and other BI/DW tools;
• Basic knowledge of Git branching, Push and Pull code to and from git repository;
• Involved in requirement gathering for reporting application and worked with customer;
• A proactive team player who can adapt to different situations and enjoys a collaborative work environment;
• Fluent English (C1) to work seamlessly in an international environment and to gather reporting requirements;
• Location in Poland to facilitate collaboration and attendance at occasional team meetings.
