Job Role: Enterprise Architect
Job Description
Role & Responsibilities
· Possess around 18 years of work experience as at a reputable Data & AI services firm.
· Design and implement enterprise-scale data architectures on Snowflake, establishing data vault methodologies to ensure scalable, auditable, and flexible data warehouse solutions that support complex analytical workloads across the organisation.
· Lead the development and governance of DBT transformation frameworks, creating reusable models, establishing coding standards, & implementing CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent, tested, & version-controlled data transformations across all business domains.
· Architect end-to-end analytics solutions integrating Snowflake data platforms with Power BI, optimising semantic layers, implementing row-level security, and designing performance-optimised data models that enable self-service analytics for business users.
· Define and enforce data architecture standards and best practices, including data modelling principles, naming conventions, security frameworks, and cost optimisation strategies to ensure consistent implementation across all Snowflake environments and projects.
· Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate enterprise requirements into technical architectures, create solution blueprints, conduct design reviews, and provide technical leadership on data platform modernization initiatives.
· Hands-on expertise with modern data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster to coordinate complex DBT workflows, manage dependencies across data pipelines, and implement monitoring and alerting frameworks.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key stakeholders across the client’s enterprise to identify business challenges, define requirements, and recommend process improvements. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units to ensure alignment on project goals.
· Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key business stakeholders, including project managers, IT teams, and business partners, to ensure alignment of data and AI initiatives with organisational goals.
Good to have
· Possess a bachelor’s or master’s degree.
· Experience with agile delivery methodologies and stakeholder management, including ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences, mentor junior architects and engineers, and drive adoption of architectural standards across distributed teams.
· Drive meaningful customer conversations and achieve positive business outcomes.
· Engage with clients effectively, build strong business networks, and play a key role in achieving successful outcomes for clients.
· Maintains an active learning approach, staying current with industry trends, and applying these insights to develop solutions, initiate new projects, and shape capability roadmaps.
· Client office two days a week.
