Job Summary:

As a Cohesity Certified Administrator, you will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Cohesity data management solutions. You will work closely with other teams to ensure data protection, backup, and recovery solutions are consistently operational and aligned with business and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage Cohesity solution to meet the organization's data protection needs.

2. Manage and monitor backup and recovery tasks to ensure data availability and integrity.

3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Cohesity solutions.

4. Implement data retention policies and perform routine data archiving.

5. Collaborate with other teams to ensure flawless Cohesity infrastructure operations.

6. Perform software updates and upgrades to keep the Cohesity environment up-to-date.

7. Monitor system performance and optimize Cohesity resources for maximum efficiency.

8. Create and maintain documentation related to Cohesity configurations and procedures.

9. Provide technical support and training to end-users or other teams as needed.

10. Stay updated on Cohesity's latest features, updates, and best practices.

11. Take ownership and provide end-to-end solutions to various backup related issues.

Qualifications:

1.       Proven extensive experience and knowledge of Cohesity backup solutions.

2.       Relevant certifications:

a.       Cohesity Certified Installation Professional

b.       Cohesity Certified Data Protection Associate

c.       Cohesity Certified Data Management Associate

d.       Cohesity Certified Data Security Professional

3.       Strong knowledge of data protection, backup, and recovery concepts.

4.       Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

5.       Strong communication and collaboration skills.

6.       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.

7.       Knowledge of virtualization technologies and cloud platforms –  is a plus.

8.       Knowledge of other backup technologies (Networker, PPDM, Veeam) – is a plus.

9.       Knowledge of storage technologies (NetApp, Pure Storage) – is a plus.
