Job Description

Responsibilities:

● Technology Strategy and R&D: Lead the development of applied and forward-looking reusable assets and service offerings for Smart Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Customer Experience, and Employee Productivity domains. Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on bringing these solutions to the market.

● Practice Development: Lead and mentor a team of senior technologists, develop consulting methodologies and playbooks. Manage relationships with technology partners and industry analysts.

● Consulting Leadership: Lead and drive technology consulting engagements and pre-sales, architecture assessments, and discovery workshops. Plan AI-centric programs of Fortune-1000 enterprises and lead teams of architects, SMEs, and engineers who work on client accounts and drive consulting engagements to success.

● Delivery: Work with Grid Dynamics’s delivery organization to ensure that the right tools, technologies, and processes are in place across the firm to transform and continuously improve the quality and efficiency of our clients’ AI and data platforms and related processes.

Requirements:

● Strong experience in generative AI solutions for at least one of the following domains: Customer Experience such as products search; Employee Productivity such as knowledge management systems; Supply Chain and Smart Manufacturing such as equipment operations.

● Good understanding of GenAI application architectures, development methodologies, and tooling. Deep understanding of LLMs/VLMs strengths and limitations, prompt engineering techniques, multimodal solutions, quality evaluation methods, scalability and reliability, data integration methods, guardrails and security.

● Extensive knowledge and practical experience with deep learning, natural language processing, traditional ML.

● Extensive practical experience in AI/ML platforms, MLOps, LLMOps, and corresponding tooling including open-source, cloud native, and proprietary.

● Experience in managing and delivering sophisticated analytical programs and AI/ML solutions at the enterprise scale.

● Deep domain knowledge in at least one of the following industries: Manufacturing, Retail, Healthcare, Life Sciences.

● Experience with leading teams of senior technologists, willingness and ability to drive the practice development, pre-sales collaboration, and delivery in a consulting environment. Experience managing key client relations worldwide and advising global technology and business leaders on innovation and data strategy.

Technology skills (any of below):

● Strong expertise with at least one major cloud platform (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and familiarity with the others.

● Hands-on expertise in creating GenAI applications: Closed and open source LLMs, RAGs, Agentic frameworks, Observability & monitoring, Fine-tuning. Hands-on experience with PyTorch.

● Experience with traditional ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn).

● Experience with data engineering and data preparation (SQL, Spark, pandas, etc.)

● MLOps and LLMOps: Vertex AI, Sagemaker, Databricks, vector databases and search engines
