About the Role: What's in the Box
This role requires a Staff Product Analyst with deep expertise in web and app analytics to help drive data-informed product and growth decisions across the organization. The service provider will engage with the analytics and reporting team, working globally across the Berlin and New York City office contexts.
The scope includes solving challenging business problems using digital product usage and customer data, leveraging advanced analytics platforms like Google Analytics 4, Snowplow, and BigQuery to generate actionable insights. The role provides professional-grade dashboarding and reporting for critical product and growth initiatives, reaching the C-suite level. This role does not include people management responsibilities.

What you’ll do: The Ingredients
Partner with Product, Marketing, and Growth teams to define KPI trees, design measurement frameworks, and track product performance across app and web platforms.
Build sophisticated analytics solutions using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Snowplow, and BigQuery to extract deep insights from large-scale behavioral datasets.
Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure product feature impact and optimize user experiences.
Analyze user journeys, conversion funnels, retention cohorts, and engagement patterns to identify opportunities for product improvement and growth.
Collaborate with marketing teams to analyze and provide recommendations based on customer lifecycle data.
Leverage AI and automation tools to increase efficiency in data analysis, reporting, and insight generation workflows.
Develop automated reporting and dashboards that enable self-service analytics across the organization.
Communicate complex data and statistical concepts persuasively to technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.
Provide technical guidance and support to other analysts while promoting analytics best practices across the organization.
What you’ll bring
BS or equivalent in a quantitative field (business, CS, math, economics, statistics, engineering).
7–8+ years analyzing complex business data, including 4–5+ years in product/web/app analytics at fast-paced, product-led tech companies.
Expert-level product analytics experience (GA4/Snowplow, Mixpanel/Amplitude), including advanced event tracking, experimentation, and user behavior analysis.
Advanced BigQuery skills (complex SQL, optimization, data modeling, large-scale datasets).
Strong Python for analytics and automation (pandas, numpy) plus advanced Excel skills.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Data Studio).
Solid grounding in descriptive & inferential statistics; experience with marketing, CRM, and lifecycle analytics is a plus.
Proven ability to work autonomously, drive ambiguous projects to impact, and leverage AI tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, etc.) to boost productivity.
