How it all started: The HelloFresh Group Story
In 2011, our founders Dominik and Thomas spent afternoons packing pre-portioned recipe ingredients for their community. Their purpose? To test a new way to get home cooked meals on tables around the world. Little by little, their experiment became a real business that changed the way people eat. Since then, HelloFresh went from a small start-up to a sustainably profitable, publicly traded group company (listed in 2017), spanning 16 countries with its 8 brands shipping over 1 billion meals every year to its customers.

What does our recruitment process look like?
Our recruitment process is transparent and candidate-friendly. From the first contact, we ensure clear communication and quick feedback. You go through several stages that allow us to get to know each other better and jointly assess whether we're a good fit. We want every candidate to feel cared for and have complete information at every stage of the process. These are the general steps for the interview process, though variations may occur based on the role applied for.
Introduction Interview
This is a chance for our Talent Acquisition team to learn more about your experience and motivation, as well as a chance for you to ask questions about HelloFresh and the role.Hiring Manager Interview
At this stage, you’ll meet with the hiring manager to dive deeper into your experience and how it aligns with the role. It’s also a great opportunity to ask about team goals, expectations, and what success looks like in this position.Testing Stage
Next, we set different take-home case studies / online coding challenges for each position. This helps us understand how you approach the type of tasks you would be doing in the role, and see your practical knowledge in action.Final Interview Rounds
In this stage, you’ll complete two focused interviews designed to explore your experience and skills in greater depth. Each session assesses different aspects of the role and may include collaborative problem-solving, a conversation with a product stakeholder, or a discussion with a senior leader, depending on the position.
