Senior React Native Engineer (Android), Growth Alliance

Work with HelloFresh in Warsaw and its HelloTech organisation, HelloFresh’s global technology backbone with more than 1000 people, building the digital products that power our end-to-end food experience. About the role: What's in the Box

As a Senior React Native Engineer, you will work on a cross-functional team within the Growth Alliance focused on how HelloFresh brands engage with millions of customers every day. The Communications team handles the mobile experiences and platforms that power customer interactions across channels such as in-app messaging, push notifications, and email.

You will build high-impact, customer-facing features that deliver personalized, data-driven content at scale. From dynamic UI components to seamless integrations with backend systems, your work will directly shape how users discover, engage with, and return to HelloFresh.

Working closely with product, design, and engineering peers, you’ll help drive fast experimentation, improve engagement, and create intuitive communication experiences used across global markets.

What you’ll do: The Recipe

• Work on a cross-functional team with a product owner, engineers, designers, and analysts

• Help to enable the product team to iterate fast and learn about users by planning, building, testing, and launching features

• Collaborate with engineers across the department and the company to continuously improve the code base, systems, and processes

• Design and develop solutions that can continue to scale

• Support other team members through workshops, pair programming, and code reviews

What you’ll bring: The Ingredients 

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on work with React Native

• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

• Proficiency in building component-based architectures using React.js and Node.js

• Deep understanding of integrating frontend and backend services seamlessly

• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, along with solid testing practices, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing

• Strong collaboration skills when partnering with product designers

• Hands-on experience with Native Android is a plus
