The purpose of Digital Operations is to support the operational life of digital products through platforms and services, ensuring stability and efficient operations of our production systems. The Digital Operations Product consists of Monitoring & SRE services, Platform Engineering for Observability Platforms & AIops technology, Cloud ALM and RPA services for our IBM teams. The Product Owner for Digital Operations is responsible for further development and operational functioning of the product, the vision, roadmap and the financial health of the product.
Your responsibilities would include:
being accountable for the end-to-end development and delivery of the product
working with business/end users to establish, maintain, and refine product requirements and the product backlog
building a product vision: defining, owning and communicating the product vision and roadmap
owning the user experience, understanding end-user business value, and prioritizing accordingly
creating, maintaining, and managing the product budget
acting as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the development team
aligning with Global Information Security scope and ensuring a secured environment (patching, upgrading, migrating, etc.) for this function
managing partner relations and contracts in support of the delivery of the product.
You are a good candidate if you have:
bachelors or master’s degree in IT/computer science related studies
3+ years experience as a product owner or similar role
experience in an agile environment, preferably functioning in a product team running SCRUM or Kanban
an entrepreneurial mind-set and an ability to connect with internal and external audiences including senior management
good understanding of Observability Platforms, AIops technology and SRE practises
familiarity/experience with with New Relic
Certified New Relic Verified Foundation and PSPO I
stakeholder management skills.
You are a perfect match if you also have:
PSPO II & EBM certification
certified New Relic Reliability Engineer Professional (REP)
experience managing budgets
experience in a complex/multinational environment.
