Job description

Our dream at HEINEKEN is to help our customers grow by serving them better, faster and smarter with digital solutions. To do so, we created a brand-new E-Business team that combines a portfolio of solutions and services to meet the needs and solve the pain points of our customers. The HEINEKEN E-Business team is where product teams, Global Sales, Digital & Technology, as well as our Operating Companies work together in an agile way, break through classical silos and adopt new ways of working.

As a B2B Product Architect you own the end-to-end ideation, solutioning, architecture and scaling of our DOT B2B eCommerce platform and distributor management solution, which contribute significantly to HEINEKEN International’s Evergreen strategy. You will work directly with the Product Owner, understand the business needs and help convert those needs into solution architecture specifications and services in line with overall architectural standards and roadmaps.

Your focus will be on the system built with Virto Commerce on Azure in the .NET language. You’ll be part of a team of architects that together covers the order intake space.

This system is operational in many countries and captures a significant part of our online orders. As architect you need to guide the team through system and business process harmonization. You will have a relentless focus every day on further expanding, improving, integrating and making the product(s) successful in our Operating Companies across the world. You do this together with the Tech Leads, Engineering manager, Product Owner, Business Analysts and the scrum teams. You have the skill and experience to coach others on best practices, modern engineering and architectural & software design principles. This role is positioned in the Krakow Hub as an integral part of our insourcing strategy.

In this role, you will:

  • Formulate and document the architecture & design based on functional and non-functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the solution

  • Lead & facilitate solutioning sessions together with Tech Leads and business representatives

  • Collaborate with the Product Owner on long term roadmap

  • Establish technical standards, patterns, and best practices for development teams

  • Work closely with our Integration team to efficiently connect the B2B platform in the broader ecosystem

  • Ensure solution design and technical decisions conforms to overall architectural (Domain, Enterprise) vision, principles and technical roadmap standards

  • Conduct continuous improvement analysis on existing application architectures and identify architectural optimizations

  • Ensure the delivered system and services is consistent with the agreed architecture, and meet the business requirements

  • Drive the technical validation and ensure the services of the technology partners meet the business requirements

  • Manage stakeholders across global & local, within D&T and with business areas

Are we looking for you?

Result-oriented, analytical, proactive, team player, communicative. These are keywords that describe you. But if you really want to succeed in the role, you have the following must-haves:

  • University degree in technical and/or business field

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in the B2B or B2C eCommerce space in similar roles, where you have gained hands-on and strategic experience with smaller and larger eCommerce platforms

  • Extensive experience with .NET programming languages (C#, ASP.NET Core 8)

  • Experience with Azure services including App Service, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and Azure SQL

  • Relevant knowledge of Agile/SCRUM and DevOps practices in Enterprise environments

  • Understanding of DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD) and main tools

  • Excellent (B2/C1) oral and written command of English

The following are preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with VirtoCommerce or equivalent e-Business software

  • Relevant knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, Dell Boomi, Solace, etc.)

  • Experience with frontend, backend or full stack development

  • Familiarity with part of our toolchain: Azure Search, Elasticsearch, hangfire, firebase, Redis cache, liquid templates, Angular/Ionic, Typescript, GraphQL and analytics tools like hotjar, lighthouse, Azure Application Insights or google analytics.#LI-HYBRID
