Tech Acceleration is the Tribe offering the foundation that empowers product teams and operations teams to build, run, and continuously improve digital products with confidence and speed at scale. Within the Tribe, the OpsTech product provides a comprehensive set of platform capabilities that enable reliable, scalable, and automated operations across HEINEKEN’s digital landscape. It covers observability, site reliability engineering (SRE), AIOps, and event-driven automation, ensuring systems are monitored, resilient, and increasingly self-healing.
As Senior Technology Specialist – Product Architect, you are responsible for the end-to-end product architecture, technical direction, and quality of HEINEKEN’s OpsTech platform. This spans multiple domains including Observability Platform Engineering (e.g. New Relic), SRE tooling and practices, AIOps capabilities, and Event-Driven Automation (including RPA & Scripting services).
You ensure the platform is secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with HEINEKEN’s business strategy, global architecture standards, and long-term roadmap. You define the architectural vision across the different OpsTech streams and ensure consistency and integration between internally managed capabilities and externally delivered services.
You operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations, enabling teams to run stable, highly available services while driving automation and reducing operational toil. You support the Product Owner and stream leads in building and evolving a cost-effective, highly scalable, and resilient operations platform that improves system reliability, observability, and incident response across HEINEKEN.
Your responsibilities would include:
owning the end-to-end architecture and technical direction of the OpsTech product
defining the architecture roadmap for both the Observability Platform and the SRE and AIOps ecosystem
helping ensure the latest market trends and company stakeholder needs are being taken into account in the product roadmap
ensuring the platform is being kept secure, scalable, resilient, compliant, and cost-effective
guiding development teams on solution design, standards, and technical quality
aligning product architecture with HEINEKEN’s business strategy, enterprise standards, and long-term roadmap
driving reuse, standardization, and an improved developer experience across the platform.
You are a good match if you have:
bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, computer science, engineering, or a related field
extensive experience in platform architecture, SRE, observability, or operations engineering within enterprise environments
strong knowledge of modern operations and reliability practices, including monitoring & alerting, incident management, automation, IaC, and CI/CD integration
proven experience in complex, global organizations with multiple stakeholders, vendors (e.g. IBM), and governance requirements
strong architectural understanding of platform integrations, distributed systems, shared services, and secure-by-design principles
ability to define and drive architectural direction across multiple domains (observability, SRE, AIOps, automation) while ensuring consistency and scalability
strong communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and align cross-functional teams on a common technical vision
excellent written and verbal English.
You are a perfect candidate if you also have:
experience with observability and incident management tools (e.g. New Relic, PagerDuty) and SRE tooling ecosystems
experience with AIOps, event-driven architectures, and/or automation platforms (including RPA)
familiarity with SAP-focused tooling (e.g. Solution Manager, Cloud ALM) in an operations context
experience managing or integrating external delivery partners in a platform/product setup
knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and governance practices
relevant certifications in architecture, cloud, SRE, DevOps, Agile, or security.
