Business Support Consultant - Reporting & Analytics

In this role, you are functionally responsible for the design, implementation, and optimisation of SAP BI solutions, including SAP Business Warehouse (BW). You enable the business users across multiple Export OpCos to make informed, data driven decisions by delivering high quality analytics andensuring the accuracy, stability, and performance of reporting systems. The role combines BI solution architecture, hands-on functional leadership, and stakeholder engagement to deliver enterprise-wide, high-impact analytics solutions for HEINEKEN. Key responsibilities include managing BW processes, overseeing data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL), and maintaining a robust SAP BW back-end environment.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Functional Ownership: Act as functional owner of the SAP BI solution in collaboration with the Business Support team, ensuring value delivery across the full solution lifecycle. Partner closely with the BI Architect to design and maintain BI solutions fully aligned with HEINEKEN’s architectural principles, standards, and digital transformation roadmap

• Operational Support & Issue Management: Provide first-line functional and technical support to Head Office and Export stakeholders. Ensure timely resolution of incidents, effective escalation when required, and continuity of reporting processes while delivering a high standard of user support

• Project Implementation & Documentation: Support SAP BI related implementations such as AI initiatives by contributing to solution design and coordinating with the BI Architect 

• Oversee development activities to ensure technical quality and compliance with HEINEKEN standards

• Validate business requirements, maintain comprehensive documentation, and provide post–go-live support.

• Process Support & Data Management: Manage day-to-day SAP BI operational processes and reporting applications. Monitor data quality, identify root causes of inconsistencies, and implement corrective actions to ensure reliable reporting and consolidation outcomes

• Change Management & Testing: Translate business requirements and user stories into scalable and implementable SAP BI solutions. Prepare functional specifications, perform regression testing, and support user acceptance testing to enable safe, compliant, and high-quality system changes

• User Training & Education: Deliver training and ongoing knowledge sharing on SAP reporting to drive adoption, build user capability, and promote self-service reporting

• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify bottlenecks, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities. Recommend enhancements, promote best practices, and contribute to continuous optimisation of system performance, data quality, and user experience

You are a good candidate if you have: 

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar IT field

• Strong understanding of SAP BW, SAP Analytics Cloud, planning, and reporting processes

• Excellent Excel skills with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office

• At least 7 years’ experience in data analytics / Business Intelligence role with a similar scope of responsibilities

• Have hands-on experience of SAP BW/4HANA (SAC knowledge in addition will be welcomed)

• Knowledge of Enterprise level systems, databases, and BW solutions

• Experience with SAP implementations and global roll-outs

• Knowledge of SAP Domains; ability to read SAP ABAP coding is a plus experience)

• Excellent communication skills (verbal and in writing); ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people and identify and understand different stakeholder viewpoints

• Ability to understand Business requirements and translate these into solutions
