As Chapter Lead - Business Analysis (CL BA), you immerse yourself in a collaborative Agile environment, alongside Product Owners, Product Architects, and DevOps teams. Your impact extends beyond day-to-day operations as you contribute to an expanding scope and roadmap, accelerating deployments, standardizing both technical and business perspectives, and reducing total cost of ownership.In this role, you operate at both strategic and operational levels, building Business Analysis capabilities, mentoring talent, and partnering with senior stakeholders across product, architecture, and technology.
You are a key enabler of digital transformation, process harmonization, and the delivery of scalable, future-ready solutions that meet business and compliance needs.
You lead a high-performing chapter of Business Analysts operating across large-scale, complex digital programs. Your team plays a critical role in aligning business needs with technology delivery, driving standardization, and ensuring value-driven outcomes in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environment within the Heineken Marketing and Technology (MarTech) team.
Key responsibilities:
Team & Capability Leadership
lead, coach, and develop a chapter of Business Analysts working in cross-functional Heineken MarTech delivery teams, fostering a culture of excellence in Business Analysis
plan and allocate resources across teams and initiatives in line with the HEINEKEN MarTech roadmap
Business Analysis Strategy & Execution
lead the gathering and mapping of business requirements by understanding and assessing business needs, use cases, and functional requirements across the end-to-end MarCom process
champion value stream and user-centric thinking to ensure that business needs are understood, assessed and translated into high-quality, deliverable work items
collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Architects, and DevOps teams to ensure alignment on business objectives - maximizing value delivery through MVPs that drive measurable impact against defined KPIs
drive the decomposition of complex business requirements into clear, structured user stories in JIRA/Confluence
Stakeholder Management
serve as a trusted advisor and liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
navigate stakeholders across operating companies and global functions, ensuring alignment and buy-in.
Supporting & Enabling Product Owners
provide hands-on support to Product Owners in gathering, defining, and prioritizing business requirements and breaking down requirements into well-structured, user stories coaching them on value definition, modular decomposition, and Agile delivery principles such as INVEST and MVP thinking
Solution & Process Architecture
ensure consistency, traceability, and cohesion of business requirements across platforms and processes
contribute to omnichannel experience design and seamless integration of data flows
identify opportunities for process and technology improvement that directly enhance business value
Governance, Quality & Compliance
drive adherence to quality, compliance, and data governance standards
collaborate with tech teams to manage business/technical debt and ensure fit-for-purpose solutions
contribute to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) planning and validation
Measurement & Optimization
support value measurement efforts; ensure decisions are evidence-based and outcome-oriented.
Embed Business Architecture and BA best practices into delivery pipelines
You will work daily – primarily in a distributed and asynchronous setup with:
your team of Business Analysts (both insourced and outsourced)
the Commerce team (including Product Owners and business stakeholders), vendors, Product Architects, and Project Managers
Chapter Lead Architect of MarTech Team to align on technology and process approaches
other teams to manage cross-team topics and dependencies
the MarTech Technology Director, to whom you report directly
We are looking for you if you:
hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
have 7 to10 years of global experience in enterprise scale environments, including 5+ years hands-on Business Analysis experience where you have gained hands-on and strategic experience for below mentioned process areas
possess hands-on and strategic expertise in consumer experience platforms and key marketing communication processes (e.g. data storage, governance, marketing automation, consent, and identity management, digital asset management, workflow management)
demonstrate strong leadership skills with a proven track record of driving team development and performance
bring proven expertise in Agile product development and DevOps practices
are skilled at engaging and influencing senior stakeholders, balancing strategic priorities with practical outcomes
are result-oriented, analytical, proactive and a strong team player
apply structured thinking, clear communication, and strong problem-solving in your daily work
are fluent in English
