Sr Software Architect

For international betting company we are looking for:

Senior Software Architect
Katowice (min. 2 days in office per week)
Employment or B2B

Responsibility:

• Define and evolve system architecture across multiple products and services

• Design scalable, high-performance, high-available, real-time / near-real-time software

• Establish and enforce engineering standards

• Collaborate with engineering teams to guide implementation

• Ensure system security, reliability and performance

• Support teams in designing services, communication patterns, and integrations

• Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical mentorship

• Evaluate and introduce new technologies

Requirements:

• Significant experience in complex software architecture design (as Software Architect, Lead/Senior Developer)

• Technical knowledge of full-stack development

• Experience designing distributed systems, asynchronous messaging and Microservices architectures

• Deep understanding of event-driven architecture

• Knowledge of / experience in integrating with statistical modelling engines

• Knowledge of Cloud and DevOps (at least from software design perspective)

• Experience in on of sectors: betting / gambling, finance / fintech, insurance / insurtech

• Fluent in English and Polish

• Ability to work in working environment where Frequent Releases are a standard
