IT Business Analyst

About the Position:

This role involves working closely with stakeholders and development teams to ensure business requirements are met efficiently. You will be responsible for managing the delivery of business requirements, client acceptance, and ensuring smooth project progress. You will also handle communication, documentation, and provide solutions to any challenges that arise during the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with stakeholders to gather or share business or development requirements.
• Provide suggestions and solutions to the development team to meet business needs.
• Take ownership of business requirement delivery and client acceptance.
• Create JIRA items by converting business requirements into technical specifications.
• Maintain Confluence pages, uploading relevant information, and sharing useful content.
• Prepare presentations for clients, management meetings, and ad-hoc projects.
• Manage sprints in JIRA and Scrum calls to help build a high-performance team.
• Track infrastructure and software upgrades to mitigate non-compliance and outage risks.
• Generate ad-hoc, daily, weekly, or monthly reports as required.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or production checkouts based on requirements.
• Prepare scope documents for the year.
• Provide necessary documentation to close project milestones.
• Maintain and track the book-of-work for the year.
• Assist in identifying and resolving production tickets by suggesting solutions.
• Mentor new team members and provide knowledge transfer (KT) based on projects.
• Assist the team in resolving project-related issues.

Must-have:

o 4+ years’ experience in IT industry.

o Intermediate knowledge in JIRA, Confluence, SQL Oracle Database, Postman.

o Experience with SQL Oracle Database (mandatory).

o Ability to work independently and without any influence from manager.

o Strong verbal and written communications skills.

o Ability to manage multiple efforts and adjust priorities with evolving work efforts.

o Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

o Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; Master’s degree in a business-related field is preferred.
