Job description

Harman's software engineering team working on in-vehicle Java SE-based communication middleware. The in-vehicle communication middleware is responsible for secure routing of messages between automotive back-end and services running inside a connected car.
Work is executed in collaboration with engineers from our customer which is a well-known German car manufacturer.

👉🏻Your responsibilities will be centered around:

Understand customer requirements and presented HLD (High Level Design)
Evaluate presented HLD and provide inputs to the architecture team if needed
Create LLD (Low Level Design) corresponding to presented HLD
Design software components
Implement high-quality object-oriented code in Java SE embedded in vehicle's internal computing infrastructure
Assure quality of created software components by means of unit test coverage and fixing SCA issues
